While we can't see into the future, one thing we can predict is that uncertainty in the markets is here to stay. This year's Economic Forecast addressed topics such as trade risk, slower global growth, consumer spending, and the status of corporate America at both the state and national level.
The Metro Denver EDC's economic expert, Patty Silverstein, and LPL's Senior Market Strategist Ryan Detrick, shared information on how you can take advantage of current economic data and trends to make informed decisions about the year ahead.
Attendees of the Economic Forecast walked away from this year's event with:
- An understanding of core economic indicators–including housing and employment–in addition to growth trends for population, migration, income levels and industry clusters within Colorado.
- Expectations of the current economic environment, particularly the impact of government policy on the economy, inflation and interest rate expectations.
