Kirk Monroe is the Executive Director of Lending Services at Vectra Bank Colorado,
where he oversees the bank’s high–revenue units of Corporate Real Estate, Corporate Banking,
Commercial Banking, Municipal Financing, Oil & Gas, Deposit Banking, Wealth Management and
Having been with Vectra’s parent company Zions Bancorporation since 1998, Monroe has spent
the past six years successfully tying together separate bank divisions to operate with a more
synergistic approach. The result has been deeper relationships with clients and the ability
to provide customers the value of a broader range of expertise and proficiencies.
Monroe currently sits on the Vectra Bank Board of Directors, is a member of the Metro Denver
Economic Development Committee, and volunteers with Daniels College of Business Executive
Mentor Program and the Urban Land Institute in Colorado as the ULI Colorado District Chair.
Previously, he served as ULI’s Treasurer and was on the executive council for the Phoenix
chapter of the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties. He has a master’s
degree in international business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Monroe and his wife, Michelle, have three children: Connor, Dylan and Kendall. Monroe coaches
youth lacrosse, actively supports community organizations and once served as a member of the
executive council of the Phoenix Boys and Girls Club.
In his spare time, he enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, hiking, running, fishing and travel.
