Overview
Water is quickly becoming THE natural resource when it comes to economic development and growth. We invite you to join us as we host a conversation with Denver Water CEO, Alan Salazar, to learn more about the impact of water on Colorado and our future.
For more than 100 years, the Colorado River’s water has been split between seven states, Native American tribes, and Mexico. But in that time, a lot has changed, including higher temperatures and an increase in population. What does this mean for the future of water in Colorado and surrounding areas?
Denver Water not only supplies water to residents and businesses, but provides a number of other services such as working with new construction projects, information about water recreation areas in Colorado, initiatives such as lead reduction, and a number of educational resources. Denver Water is committed to being a national leader in delivering clean water, operating and maintaining a reliable and resilient system, and protecting the water resources of the West.
