Community Involvement
Vectra Bank has a long history of supporting the communities we serve. This includes supporting financial literacy programs, economic development efforts, and engaging in many causes that lead to stronger Colorado communities.
Employee Volunteerism
Every year, Vectra Bank employees volunteer hundreds of hours with dozens of different organizations including The Children’s Hospital, Junior Achievement, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and more. Employees also hold leadership roles in civic groups such as Metro Denver Economic Development Corp., VISIT Denver, The Colorado Women’s Chamber, and many local arts and culture foundations. Each Fall, Vectra Bank organizes a giving campaign for United Way organizations across our markets.
Community Reinvestment
Through our community reinvestment efforts in lending, investment and community service, we are able to support local affordable housing, revitalization and economic development improvements in the diverse communities where we live and work.
Specifically, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) is intended to encourage banks to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which we operate, including low– and moderate–income neighborhoods and historically under–served populations. Vectra Bank’s CRA efforts are focused in three main areas:
Lending – Mortgage, Small Business, Community Development Loans
Investments – Market Rate & Donations
Services – Branch & ATM locations, Products, Volunteerism
