Check Imaging and Safe Keeping
Check Imaging provides you with simplified record keeping, easier storage of your checking records and faster answers. Here’s how it works:
- On a daily basis, we digitally scan the front and back of all deposit slips and checks.
- We then permanently store the information in our computer system.
- Finally, if you choose, your monthly statement will include check copies – displaying the digital images of the front of the canceled checks and cleared deposits included in that statement.
If you elect the Safe Keeping option, balancing your checkbook is easier and faster. You will not receive check copies but you will still receive your monthly statement, which could be useful in case of disputes. The greatest benefit is that you will no longer have to store your checks. And if you have questions about activity in your account, our Customer Service representatives will answer your questions over the phone and, if needed, fax or mail a copy of your check or deposit to you.

You’re careful with your finances, but sometimes things just happen. Avoid the fees and hassles of overdrawing by linking your checking to this account to cover unexpected overdrafts. A Check Reserve2 is a line of credit available for limits between $300 and $10,000. When the line is used, a fee per transfer will be charged and, in most cases, will be lower than those charged for an overdraft or return item.
