Getting the Most From Your Business Credit Card

Business credit cards account for one out of every six dollars 3rd party Link Informaiton spent on all active credit accounts in the U.S., despite representing just 4 percent of cards in circulation. Having a company card can offer many advantages for business owners when used effectively.

Perhaps the most common reason to open a corporate credit account is convenience. By keeping personal and business finances and records separate, organization and bookkeeping gets much easier.

Just like for an ordinary credit account, business card issuers will need to check credit history. If your business is brand new, the card company may rely on a check of your personal credit score. Be prepared by reading over your credit report, if you haven't already.
